Friday and Saturday September 5-6th--Re-membering your Soul's Path with Jeanne • $100
A new shamanic class on discovering and bringing forth your medicine through the shamanic techniques of soul remembering, dismemberment, divination, shadow animal work and trance dance.  We'll begin Friday evening as we set our circle and create sacred space for the weekend.  Through the power of trance dance we will open our hearts, gather our power and make a commitment to re-membering our soul's path.  On Saturday we'll begin by learning the technique of soul remembering to call forth our medicine and give it symbolic representation.  Through a dismemberment journey we will release what we no longer need, work with our shadow animal and use divination to gain further insight on using our medicine.  You must be proficient at journeying and have a good working relationship with your power animals to attend.  Class times on Friday are 7:15pm to 9:15pm and Saturday is 10-4pm.

The Unexpected Caregiver: Do you have to parent your parents?
You were just dropping off a few groceries on your way home from work and you found Mom had fallen. The hospital called you at work to tell you they have your dad. You thought you were just “helping out a little,” but now find yourself taking care of finances, the lawn and their medical needs. You’re a caregiver. And seldom do we make time to discuss caregiving. This is your opportunity to do so:
▪ Do you want to take on this caregiving role? Or do you feel you have to?
▪ Is it your role to parent your parents?
▪ Should you sit in on your parent's doctor appointments?
▪ If you think your parents are depressed, what do you do?
▪ As their driving abilities decline, do you take their keys?
▪ When you think it’s time for your parents to move, how do you bring it up?
Kari Berit, author of The Unexpected Caregiver: How Boomers Can Keep Mom & Dad Active, Safe and Independent, will lead this hands-on workshop to help you better understand your role as caregiver. Come with questions an open mind to new ideas. Kari’s book will be available for sale ($19), as will other caregiving tools.
