About Jeanne Marie Troge, MA


 

 

Jeanne Marie Troge, MA is a Shamanic Practitioner/Teacher and Usui and Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher. She has followed a shamanic path for over 19 years.  She offers two year trainings in Core Shamanism and in Celtic Shamanism in addition to numerous other classes including teleclasses. She encourages students to find their own shamanic path as opposed to copying another culture’s way. Jeanne believes that shamanism is the language of her heart as it found her in her dark night of the soul.  Jeanne has studied primarily with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and with Tom Cowan, but has also had numerous trainings with others including Myron Eshowsky, Alberto Villoldo, and Ailo Gaup. Jeanne is a founding member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners (www.shamansociety.org) .

She is also a trained trance dance facilitator and an ordained minister in the Circle of the Sacred Earth. Jeanne is a frequent speaker at Holistic Health Expos, and presenter at numerous spiritual/shamanic gatherings and retreats.

Jeanne holds weekend shamanic retreats which address the new earth changes, star visitors, and moving into the 5th dimension.  Her retreats are life changing events with focus on community, healing and our connection with the universe.

She holds a BS degree in Applied Psychology and a MA degree in Human Development with focus areas in transpersonal psychology, ecopsychology, grief and bereavement counseling and education and shamanism. Jeanne was a family counselor for 14 years until she decided to devote her time to her spiritual work full-time.

She is co-owner of Brigid’s House: Center of Peace for Body, Mind & Spirit (www.brigidshouse.com). Jeanne has written several articles which have been published in holistic health magazines.
